Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated:
Status as of April 2026
LLCbyState does not currently run any affiliate program. No link on the site presently earns us a commission. If this changes, this page will be updated and a clear disclosure block will appear on every page that contains an affiliate link.
How we plan to operate affiliate links (when active)
- Tagged at the link. Every affiliate anchor will carry
rel="sponsored nofollow noopener". - Disclosed on the page. Any page containing at least one affiliate link will display a visible disclosure block above the first paragraph of body content.
- No price impact. Affiliate links never change the price you pay.
- No editorial influence. Whether a service is recommended is decided by editors based on what we believe is best for the reader. The presence or absence of an affiliate program does not influence our recommendation.
- You can always go direct. Every state guide links to the official Secretary of State page so you can file directly without using any third-party service.
Programs we are evaluating for Year 2
For transparency, the affiliate programs we are evaluating for possible activation in 2027 include:
- Northwest Registered Agent
- Bizee (formerly IncFile)
- LegalZoom
Inclusion in this list is not an endorsement.
Display advertising
We display third-party ads via Google AdSense. AdSense ads are independently auctioned and we do not control which advertisers appear. Ads are visually distinguishable from editorial content (labelled "Advertisement"). Display ads do not earn us a commission on transactions; they earn us a small payment per ad impression or click.
FTC compliance
Although LLCbyState is operated from India, our audience is primarily in the United States, and we follow the US Federal Trade Commission’s "Endorsement Guides" (16 CFR Part 255) for clear and conspicuous disclosure of material connections.
